No, it never did and never will. We Never Control Your Speed ,it's Your ISP Does.
A great benefit of seeding is seedbonus. You will receive seedbonus points per 60 minutes for seeding torrents (Torrent size must be at least 120MB). You won't receive seedbonus if you skip any files. If you seed more torrents at a time points will multiply accordingly. Later you can easily trade those to increase upload amount or add invites to account. Click on your seedbonus point to see details.
Ratio is calculated by dividing your total upload amount by your total download amount since you joined this site. DeshiHD requires you to maintain a minimum ratio of 0.5. That means if you download 20GB of data you'll have to seed back minimum 10GB to keep your account active. There is an initial grace period of 20GB download in which there is no minimum ratio requirement.
You may see "Inf." ratio, which stands for Infinity, and means that you have not downloaded anything yet.
Ratio is the key to keep your account alive here. If your ratio gets below 0.50 you receive a warning .
Maintain the balance between total upload and download amount. Try to keep the ratio around 1. There are few ways to do that:
1. Seed torrents for as long as you can. You should continue seeding after completing the download. Seeding serves you in two ways.
Firstly, while you seed other peers will connect & fetch data from you. That amount of data is counted as your upload and thus ratio increases accordingly.
Secondly, you receive Seedbonus Points. Even if you cannot connect & upload to others, seedbonus helps you balance the ratio. If you seed a number of torrents at a time, seedbonus points multiply. And these points play a vital role in maintaining ratio. You can easily trade those for an increase in upload amount, and thus an increase in ratio.
2. Do NOT download old torrents that have zero leech(0 L). If a torrent has zero leech that means no one is downloading that torrent. So you won't be able to upload anything in such torrents.
3. Download Freeleech torrents and seed them. Your download credit will not increase but upload will. Thus your total ratio will increase accordingly.
4. If you have a content worth sharing, upload it to our tracker. The more peer join in and download from you, the more upload amount you receive.
5. Besides, you can also donate & contribute to TorrentBD to enjoy bonus upload amount & other exclusive facilities. Click here to see details about donation & facilities.
A warning is issued when ratio gets below 0.50. If user fails to recover ratio within 40 days of warning, system will automatically restrict his account. Restricted account cannot be re-activated without fixing the ratio. Once ratio reaches above 0.50, account is re-activated automatically. To fix the ratio -
1. You can donate to TorrentBD. Upon donation user receives a substantial amount of bonus upload and other facilities that can aid his ratio. Click here for donation details .
2. You can upload and seed torrents. Use seedbonus received upon seeding to improve ratio. Click here to see Seedbonus details.
We recommend uTorrent 2.2.1 Build 25302.
Using other clients may lead to problems with stats.
Some possible reasons:
Open the .torrent file. When your client asks you for a location, choose the location of the existing file(s) and it will resume/reseed the torrent.
It's a system which allows a member to download big files (20 gb or above) without costing them any download credit. It's basically free torrents for everyone, where download credit is not counted but upload credit is. If your ratio is poor then download and seed freeleech torrents to improve it easily.
Look for the spinning gold (100% Freeleech) / Silver (500% Freeleech) / Bronze (250% Freeleech) coin beside the torrent title.
You may be using some unapproved torrent client. We recommend using uTorrent 2.2.1 Build 25302 if freeleech is not working for you. Try not to stop in the middle of leeching unnecessarily. We won't be able to help any member here when frequent disconnection or bad data from client conflict with the system.
When you download a torrent and stop seeding it right away after completing your download it's called Hit and Run. All torrents that are larger than 500mb must be seeded for a minimum of 48hrs within a 48 days time period. Otherwise you'll be given a H&R flag. If your total flag count reaches 8 then you will not be able to download any new torrents till the flag(s) are cleared.
The system is quite simple. When a user downloads something, we expect him to seed it back and help others.
1. Just start seeding the torrents. Once you resume seeding again, H&R flags will be neutralized. After you complete 48 hours of seeding, H&R flags will be cleared.
If you are reading this then it means you are left with no option but to Donate only.
A complete source of a torrent is called seeder. After you complete downloading a torrent, you become a new source of that torrent, and thus a new seeder. Once you complete downloading a torrent your client should be seeding the files automatically. After completion do not stop/remove the torrent from your client. Also do not rename/move/edit the downloaded files. You must seed a torrent for minimum 48hrs before you can remove it from your client. Otherwise you'll receive a H&R flag.
Just uploading a torrent won't improve your total upload credit thus your ratio and it won't be added to your upload credit(amount).
For example, you have uploaded a torrent which is around 5gb(in size). Now,if a member have successfully downloaded your torrent, only then that amount(the size of your torrent) will be added to your total upload credit.
Same thing can happen if you seed someone else's torrent.
Some common reasons:
1. There is no leecher on the torrents you are seeding. Which means no one is downloading those torrents anymore.
2. You are using a shared IP. Shared IP users can not connect with other shared IP users. You will have to wait for a real IP user to leech the torrent.
3. You have a real IP but your client's port is not forwarded in your router. Visit Portforward.com to learn how to forward ports in your router.
Please check our Site Rules to learn what's not allowed here. Additionally, any content which violates the law(s) & constitution of People's Republic of Bangladesh And DMC And Others shall be removed from the index of this site.
This happens if your torrent gets deleted and you re-upload it with the same piece size. To fix this, create a new .torrent file with a different piece size. Once done, reupload that torrent.
First of all, have patience. If your torrent has not been approved yet,all the other torrents are also in the similar situation.
Also do not contact through shout box, support option or send pm(personal message) to any of the staffs in service for the approval.
If your torrent remains unapproved for 48 hours or more, directly contact the site admin and let him know your sufferings.
To maintain optimum quality we have decided not to allow any YouTube/Daily Motion and other streaming content(s) under 300MB or below 720p (144p/240p/360p/480p).It will remain in effect until any further notice.
As WEB Released contents are generally packed released especially on Netflix or similar online Channel's case, to counter upload spam we only Allow Complete Contents from these channels. So, only complete pack of the contents are allowed and nothing else; incomplete pack will be deleted instantly without any notification.
No. Sharing link is only acceptable if a member asks for it. Otherwise it will go under advertising penalties.
Make sure your title has clean and clear annotation of the type of backup you are uploading(EX:Steam,Origin,U-Play etc). Also you have to include update's release date along with the backup (In Title Section).
Include minimum requirements, process to install update in the description section and Voilà!!
A seedbox is a dedicated server at a high speed datacenter with a public IP address for the downloading and seeding of bittorrent files. Persons who have access to a seedbox can download these files to their personal computers at any time and from any place that has an internet connection.
So, when someone download torrents on their foreign server and upload them here it is called a Seedbox Torrent, it can be either a RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) system or any seedbox server system.

Yes, you can use any recognized torrent client. But there is something we want uTorrent & BitTorrent users to note.
Considering best compatibility we recommend uTorrent 2.2.1 Build 25302. However, we do not completely discourage you to use updated versions of uTorrent or BitTorrent. You may use updated versions, but we cannot guarantee the optimum performance with later versions. Also, clients in alpha or beta version should be avoided.
Make sure you exit your client properly, so that the tracker receives "event=completed".
If the tracker is down, do not stop seeding. As long as the tracker is back up before you exit the client the stats should update properly.
Check the tracker status for the torrent whether it's 'Working' or not. If it's working, just wait for 5-10 mins for tracker update or perform a forced/manual update of tracker. You can also stop the torrent & start again. In some cases (e.g. Failure: Unregistered torrent pass) you may have to remove the torrent from list, re-download the .torrent file & add it again to the client (to be repeated until tracker works).
If for some reason (e.g. pc crash, or frozen client) your client exits improperly and you restart it, it will have a new peer_id, so it will show as a new torrent. The old one will never receive a "event=completed" or "event=stopped" and will be listed until some tracker timeout. Just ignore it, it will eventually go away.
Some clients, notably TorrentStorm and Nova Torrent, do not report properly to the tracker when canceling or finishing a torrent. In that case the tracker will keep waiting for some message - and thus listing the torrent as seeding or leeching - until some timeout occurs. Just ignore it, it will eventually go away.
1. You may be using some unrecognized or incompatible torrent client resulting in tracker not updating stats correctly.
2. Note that tracker updates your stats after a certain announce interval (currently it is every 7 minutes). So wait for it to update and complete announce.
3. Or connection to the tracker server is being blocked by your ISP. Try changing your DNS to Google Public DNS and see if it works.
If none of the above seems to be working and your stats appear frozen for hours, try resetting your passkey. For further help Read Forum .
P.S : You don't have to ask for the promotions continuously. If Moderators see you eligible for the rank, you will get a promotion automatically.
Asking for a promotion continuously can put you in a long pending list.
Invites are for giving to people you know and trust. If you invite a cheater you could also be banned.
Click on your seedbonus points and exchange some seedbonus for an invite. Then click on your invites and input your invitee's email address to send them an invite.
Invites can be gained by exchanging seedbonus. Click on your seedbonus points for details.
You will not be allowed to send invites if your ratio is below 0.5 and your upload is less than 50GB.
The IP address you came from recently had bad activity online, so our firewall will present a challenge before you can access the website. This usually happens with shared IP users. Here's what you can do to solve the problem:
1.Passing the captcha will help reduce the threat score associated with the IP address. If no bad activity is seen from the IP address after a two-week period, then the challenge behavior will stop against that IP address.
2. Ask your ISP to change your IP address.
Make sure your problem is not really in this FAQ. There's no point in posting just to be sent back here. Help us in helping you. Do not just say "it doesn't work!". Provide details so that we don't have to guess or waste time asking. What client do you use? What's the exact error message you get, if any? What are the torrents you are having problems with? The more you tell the easiest it will be for us, and the more probable your post will get a reply. And needless to say: be polite. Demanding help rarely works, asking for it usually does the trick.
